Why Come To Finistere?
It is no coincedence that some of the best paddlers in France come from Finistere, when the conditions are on, they are on! We have a range of conditions that can suit you from early beginners, to firm intermediates. What ever you want it is here! The weekend is divided into sections to allow you to get the best from the coach, and from your weekend.

Programme
Meet up at 1pm for a post lunch meet and greet with Coach Nacho! Followed by a water skills and free paddle session in Guisseny!
Am Session: Technique presentation before heading out for a water session.
Pm Session: Training presentation and water session
AM Session: Technique Presentation and Race Time!
Race the tide! Whether this is your first race or its you 100th race, lets get in the water and race! The race is over 5KM – 8KM, depending on the conditions. Lets get racing, then lets get analysing!
PM Session: Debrief on Race. Free Water Session
AM Session: paddling in and out of surf presentation.
We all need to know how to get the timing right and get in and out of the waves, this is the session for you! And whats more you will get coaching on how to nail your specific start!
PM Session: Downwind Session
Last one before you go home! Load up the surfskis and lets get downwinding!
So whats included in the festival?
COACHING
Up to 2 coaching sessions per day for over 3 days!
With Top Spanish Coach Ignacio Sober Fabre coaching technical and theory lessons in and out the water. We have state of the art classroom available, as well as surfskis!
DOWNWIND TRANSPORT
Enjoy some of the best downwinds in Finistere, from the local downwind in Guisseny, to the world renowned Radliko in Brest!
Drop offs and Pick ups will be arranged to allow you to focus on your paddling!

EVENING BBQ AND MIXER
Saturday night, get together to meet other paddlers from Europe, enjoy a beer and listen to talks from other renowned paddlers!
SURFSKI TESTING
Try new surfskis or new equipment at this weekend!

Hi I am Helen, I am the owner and organiser of the event. I am seriously hooked on paddling, and especially surfski paddling. I want you all to discover how great it is to paddle in North Finistere, surfing that endless ocean swell and getting the most of the weekend you won’t regret come to North Finistere!

Guisseny is found 20 KM North Brest. April is still the off season. So the local campsites are closed.
This is a place that is still not fully developed for tourism. But that is part of its charm.
Instead there are some great bargains to be had on local gites, which are all high quality.
Get together with some friends and split the cost. You will be surprised how cheap it works out!
